The Budget Estimates (BE) of the Department for year 1996-97 was Rs.66.83 crores (Rs.52.00 crores (Plan) and Rs. 14.83 crores (Non-Plan). The Revised Estimates(RE) for 1996-97 is Rs.64.38 crores (Rs. 45.00 crores (Plan) and Rs.19.38 crores (Non-Plan). An Estimate of Rs.105.95 crores( includes Rs.88.10 crores under Plan and Rs.17.85 crores under Non-Plan) has been proposed for the year 1997-98. The details are given in the following statement.
